Participatory Spatial Planning

“Participatory Spatial Planning” is a project aimed at ensuring transparent and effective public access to all existing urban planning documentation of administrative-territorial units in Ukraine.

The project activity will focus on establishing a constructive dialogue between state and local government bodies, professional community, and the public to ensure open access to urban planning documents. This will allow consolidation of stakeholders’ interests , provide better civil society monitoring of local government bodies, minimize corruption risks and increase the level of mutual trust and partnership between the state, business and citizens.

The project is supported by the MATRA project (the Netherlands) and the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Utilities of Ukraine.

The final result of the Project is the creation of a web resource to search and access urban planning documentation with the ability to submit relevant information electronically.
